We have always been huge admirers of Pizza Port. They’ve been making great beers for decades at their various locations and are everything you could want in a brewpub; great beer, great pizza, and an inviting come-as-you-are atmosphere. With a shared reverence for coastal activities, nature, high fives and west coast style IPA’s, a mutual admiration society grew over the years between our two breweries. So, why not get together and fulfill a longtime dream of ours, to make a beer with them? There was, in fact, no reason not to! With the added bonus that we get to hang out with some of the best people on the planet and celebrate friendships and great beer. What could be better? Yew tell us, cause we can’t think of anything we’d like more, than to bring you Shaka West Coast IPA!

Down & Dirty: 2-Row Pale, Munich, White Wheat, and C-15 malt with Columbus, US Magnum, Centennial, Simcoe, and Idaho 7 hops

ABV: 7.0%          IBU: 75
Color: Light amber
Aroma: Orange and lemon with tropical, pine, sweet aromatics, grassy notes and some herbaceous aromas
Flavor: Slight sweetness and moderately bitter with lingering bitterness in medium body
