Na zdraví - who is game for another TMAVÉ LEŹÁK? The time was ripe for a Czech Dark Lager, just in time for winter. We may not have the same fourth quarter climate as The Czech Republic, but we do share the same passion for finely crafted lagers - and this cola hued pour with a tight khaki head is quite a fine substitute for a 6,000 mile jaunt to Central Europe in our opinion. At 4.8%, this is a light, toasty, nutty scented brew with nice character of whole grain crackers, unsweetened cocoa powder, and floral Saaz hops. It's malt-forward with minimal roastiness and just a hint of coffee; smooth and balanced, medium-bodied without feeling heavy, and housing well-integrated carbonation. An all around pleasure to drink, look at, and more importantly, explore in our three traditional Czech-style pours!
