2023 Cabernet Sauvignon – Estate, Brander Vineyard
While Brander Vineyard has long been celebrated for its Sauvignon Blancs, our estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon continues to highlight the elegance and depth of Bordeaux tradition in Santa Ynez. The 2023 vintage is crafted exclusively from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grown on our Los Olivos estate, and reflects a lighter, more approachable expression of the varietal.
In the glass, it presents a translucent ruby hue with lifted aromas of ripe red fruits—strawberry, cherry, and raspberry—layered with subtle floral tones. The palate is bright and fruit-driven, supported by silky, balanced tannins that provide structure without overshadowing the wine’s fresh, vibrant character. Though immediately enjoyable in its youth, this wine has the concentration and balance to develop gracefully with time in bottle.
